Inequities in health are ubiquitous.

I study the social, structural, and biological processes that create and perpetuate them.

About me

I am an Associate Professor of Sociology at Indiana University-Bloomington. I have training in medical sociology (PhD), public health administration & policy (MPH), and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in health demography. I enjoy spending my spare time outside with those near and dear, and I am always up for a delicious taco.
